All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities. These clubs and activities help students develop their personal interests, learn new skills, meet new people, and develop deep friendships and a sense of school spirit. We have a lot of clubs so that we have something for everyone. If a student has a particular interest in something we don't yet offer, that student can ask to start it! This group of student athletes works together to raise awareness of mental health issues in studnet athletes and money for special events. Contact: Ms. Bessette
Do you love art and wish you had more time in the school day to indulge your passion? We're starting a new art club that will meet after school. You could work on school murals, pottery, painting, drawing skills, and personal projects. Contact: TBD

We mountain bike across all of Vermont! From Killington to Saxon Hill, we try to go to as many locations and trail systems as possible. Popular rides include Saxon Hill, Perry Hill, and Cady Hill. Contact Mr. Giron

Rice's iconic drumline group encourages strong school spirit with enthusiastic reels. They march, drum, and move in rhythym. They perform at select athletic games, pep rallies, and special events. Contact: Mr. Ginter
Academic trivia competition. We compete against other local schools in QuizBowl competitions throughout the year. Practices are open to all. Contact Mr. Collins
The Female Athletes Leadership Council (FALC) is a community of female athletes and non-athletes, at Rice, that support one another in school as well as extra-curricular activities. The FALC mission is to strive to promote self confidence, to teach leadership skills, to empower each other to effect change and to share our gifts with others. Students learn about leadership, help women in need by sponsoring community service activities, support women's sports teams at Rice, educate the Rice community about women's issues. The National Honor Society recognizes high school students who meet high academic standards, demonstrate leadership, and focus on service to their community. Produce creative writing and share with others (optional) in a safe and supportive environment! Meets Biweekly on Tuesdays: 2:30-3 p.m. Contact: Mrs. Hebert
An informal meeting of students who are interested in debating current issues and philosophical topics. We generally work on SPAR (spontaneous argumentation) debates, which are quick, think-on-your feet activities. Contact: Dr. Jaramillo
This interactive club simulates the committees of the Model United Nations General Assembly and its various organizations to debate ongoing and anticipated issues in the world. Occasionally, students have the opportunity to simulate controversial historical issues or diplomatic conferences. Students interested in diplomacy, international relations, economics, history, law, and environmental studies are especially welcome since the majority of topics fall within these fields. During the course of debate while at conferences or at club meetings, students take on the role of a designated country and/or perspective and serve as an ambassador representing the perspective(s) and goal(s) of their given country/perspective. We compete with high schools across Vermont on Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, and Advanced Mathematics topic tests. We have 5 meets throughout the year and practice every Tuesday and Thursday after school. Contact: Mr. Giron

All clubs have a faculty/staff advisor and if you don't have someone in mind to help, we can help point you in the right direction. All requests will be reviewed quickly and we look forward to what you come up with.
