  • Recurring Gifts - Centennial Club Member

A recurring monthly gift is a simple, convenient way to make an impact that works for your budget.  It also cuts down on paper, stamps and administrative costs, and means more of your contribution goes directly to where it’s needed most.  In addition, recurring gifts ensure a steady source of support for Rice.
Here’s how a recurring gift works:
    • You determine the amount and frequency of your donation. $10 a month, $20 a month - every gift makes a difference!
    • We will charge your gift to your credit card at the predetermined interval (charges are made on or around the same date each period).
    • We will send you an e-mail confirming the charge.
    • Gifts can be paused, cancelled or changed at any time.
    • It's simple, secure and one of the best ways that you can support Rice!

  • Corporate Matching Gifts

Many organizations have corporate matching gift programs that can double and sometimes triple the value of your gift. Does your company have a matching gift program? Please ask your human resources representative for a matching gift form to submit with your gift. The RMHS Development office will take care of the rest. Currently, these generous companies provide matching gifts.  Email or call Nancy Viner at (802) 862-6521 ext. 205 for more information.
  • Securities and Other Appreciated Assets

Your gift of appreciated securities—stocks, bonds, or mutual funds—can provide significant tax benefits that reduce the net cost of your gift when compared with an equal gift of cash. If you have held a security, donating this appreciated asset in lieu of cash can be a tax-wise decision.
  • Planned Giving

Planned gifts allow you to provide for Rice Memorial High School while realizing your own financial and estate planning goals. Many planned giving methods benefit the donor as well as the school, by reducing or eliminating income, gift, and estate taxes. Bequests are the easiest form of charitable estate planning and enable you to name Rice Memorial in your will. For more information contact Christy Bahrenburg at (802) 862-6521 ext. 200 for assistance.
  • Life Insurance and Retirement Account

You can make a deferred gift by donating a life insurance policy to Rice Memorial High School or simply naming us as the beneficiary. Your retirement account can pass directly to RMHS as your primary beneficiary, or it can be transferred to a deferred giving arrangement that will pay an income for life to a family member, after which the remaining assets pass to RMHS. To find out more about these options, contact Nancy Viner at (802) 862-6521 ext. 205 for assistance.
