It is a Rice tradition to choose one Saint each November to be the Patron Saint of our school for the academic year. The common theme connecting this year's selection of Saints is the tremendous amount of faith and courage they each displayed when facing adversity at a young age. As a Rice community we have been impressed with how well you our students have handled the many difficulties of these last few years. We offer these Saints as both inspiration and companions in the year to come. Our last nominee is Blessed Chiara Luce Badano.
