100 Years of Tradition: A Year of Celebrations

The first day of the 2017-18 academic year kicked off a year's worth of celebrations marking the Centennial anniversary of Rice and Cathedral high schools.  Alumni from across decades and generations joined us for one or more of several events celebrating Rice-Cathedral's rich history.  They came from as far away as Fiji and as nearby as Proctor Avenue. Alumni from as far back as the Class of 1942 had the opportunity to meet our most recent graduates, as well as friends from other classes. It was an unprecedented year that will launch Rice into another century of successfully meeting our mission: to teach students to recognize and develop their gifts by inspiring them to love learning, to serve others and to seek God through Jesus Christ and his Church.

Thank you to all who had a hand in making these milestone events a success and to those who came from far and wide to be a part of the celebration.
